“The APIB (Alabama Private Investigators Board), through Administrative Rule 741-X-7, grants the APIA the authority to issue CEU or credits toward license renewal and request that we uphold at least one conference a year made available state wide trough virtualy for those who cannot attend in person. The APIA holds quarterly meeting, at which, 2 CEU’s are earned by attending the educational classes. Two (2) hours are awarded to APIA member attendees. Additionally, the annual conference held in October offers classes over 2 days and awards 8 hours of CE credits to APIA member attendees.” In order to best comply with AL code § 34-25B-26

APIA, as requested by APIB, have made the training  classes virtual as well so that they can be accessible to each of the congressional districts for those who don't attend in person. We have held an annual conference every year beginning in 2014 and have been graced with some of the top investigators and legal experts in the county as speakers. APIA has at least one certified trainer on the APIA Board.
